UHL Foundation

The “UHL Foundation” trust was set up in April, 2019 with a vision to contribute to the society through the experience of its founder trustees. The initial focus of the trust is in education domain wherein trust will support various activities to provide support, mentoring, handholding and financial support to worthy and needy students of government schools in Himachal Pradesh.

Enlisting needs for providing support for achieving goals and objectives.
Setting mechanism to short-list worthy students to be supported.
Aligning resources and funds for sustainable delivery to cater to the known needs.

OUR PROGRAMS

Dhaar Program

Supporting and mentoring the selected students through an effective online platform for information dissemination, resource availability and personal mentoring of the cohort. Need based financial support will be partially provided in special cases.

Bharti Scholarship

Through proper selection, one female student who gets admission to any Govt institute of national importance through all India level exams (JEE Main/Advanced, NEET, NIFT, CLAT or equivalent) will be provided partial/full (depending upon various criterion) support to pursue technical education which makes her employable in 4-5 years.

Chairperson

She is currently working as a Professor at IIT Mandi. She is passionate to serve the society, particularly through educational activities and technological intervention to uplift the hilly livelihood.

Mrs. Anshuma Goel

Secretary

She is an educationist with teaching experience of more than 15 years in different capacities, in various schools across the country. She firmly believes that Education is the prime tool to uplift the individual and society. Her philosophy is that ‘giving back to society’ is a Spiritual Attainment

Mr. Sunil Kapoor

Treasurer

He is an electrical engineer by profession, a field that demands precision, problem-solving, and technical expertise and runs his own business. He is passionate about singing and music.
